Oct 25 (Reuters) – The U.S. Division of Justice (DOJ) has accelerated its two-year-old antitrust probe on Apple Inc within the final a number of months, rising the chance of a lawsuit, the Data reported on Monday.
Legal professionals for the DOJ have requested Apple, its prospects and rivals questions on how the corporate maintains its strict management over the iPhone, the report mentioned, citing two folks with information of the investigation.
The investigation may be very “more likely to result in a lawsuit, although the specifics are nonetheless in flux,” in accordance with the report.
The DOJ declined to remark, whereas Apple didn’t instantly reply to a Reuters request for remark.
