SkyWest cancels 700 U.S. flights over technical issue

WASHINGTON, Oct 21 (Reuters) – U.S. regional air service SkyWest Airways stated Thursday it canceled about 700 flights due to an inside technical situation that was resolved late Thursday.

A spokeswoman for SkyWest, which supplies regional service for American Airways , United Airways , Alaska Airways and Delta Air Traces , stated the flights impacted embrace “cancellations into tomorrow morning as we work to get crews and plane into place.” SkyWest added it was working “to return to regular operations as shortly as doable.”
