PARIS, Oct 8 (Reuters) – French European Affairs Minister Clement Beaune mentioned on Friday that French fishermen should not pay for the failure of Britain’s exit from the European Union.
“They failed on Brexit. It was a nasty alternative. Threatening us, threatening our fishermen, won’t settle their provide of turkey at Christmas,” Beaune informed BFM TV.
“We’ll maintain agency. The Brits want us to promote their merchandise,” he added.
