IMF board seeks more details on claims against Georgieva – statement

WASHINGTON, Oct 8 (Reuters) – The Worldwide Financial Fund’s government board adjourned and not using a determination about the way forward for Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva on Friday and mentioned it will search extra details about claims that she pressured World Financial institution workers to change information to profit China in her earlier position.
The IMF mentioned the board had made “important progress,” however agreed to request “extra clarifying particulars with a view to very quickly concluding its consideration of the matter.”
