Oct 14 (Reuters) – McDonald’s Corp stated on Thursday it will check its plant-based McPlant burger, developed in partnership with vegan meat maker Past Meat , in eight U.S. retailers subsequent month.
The fast-food chain, which tied up with Past Meat to develop meatless alternate options in February, stated it will begin testing the burger from Nov. 3 for a restricted time.
The McPlant burger is already accessible in some international locations, together with Sweden, Denmark and UK.
McDonald’s added it will run the check so long as provides final.
Shares of Past Meat rose 3% in premarket commerce.
