Sept 13 (Reuters) – ViacomCBS Inc mentioned on Monday it’s restructuring the operations of its Paramount Footage’ film and tv manufacturing unit, in a broader shakeup aimed toward ramping up content material on its cable and streaming companies.

The corporate mentioned Paramount’s tv arm shall be run as a separate entity beneath the management of David Nevins, chief govt officer of Showtime Networks.

With extra folks flocking to streaming companies for leisure, the transfer will enable the corporate to concentrate on its rebranded Paramount+ streaming platform in addition to its cable networks Showtime and PlutoTV.
