Verizon says majority of U.S. employees must be vaccinated

WASHINGTON, Oct 14 (Reuters) – Verizon Communications Inc stated on Thursday nearly all of its U.S. workforce should present proof of vaccination in opposition to COVID-19 beneath President Joe Biden’s federal contractor govt order.
Verizon stated hundreds of non-union U.S. workers have to be totally vaccinated by Dec. 8 beneath the chief order.
Verizon, a federal contractor, was in discussions with its unions about vaccination necessities for 30,000 U.S. unionized workers.
