Sweden’s AB Volvo wins its largest electric truck order so far

STOCKHOLM, Oct 6 (Reuters) – Volvo Vehicles has acquired an order for 100 electrical vans from transport agency DFDS , its greatest industrial electrical truck order so far, the Swedish truck maker mentioned on Wednesday.

Volvo Vehicles, AB Volvo’s predominant truck model, mentioned the order was one of many largest ever for heavy electrical vans worldwide, including that deliveries would begin within the fourth quarter of 2022.

The FM Electrical vans, which have a variety of as much as 300 kilometres, shall be used for each quick and lengthy transport in Europe.

Volvo, which began serial manufacturing of electrical vans in 2019, is concentrating on for half of its international truck deliveries to be electrical in 2030.
