SABIC, ExxonMobil JV in U.S. preparing for initial startup

DUBAI, Sept 19 (Reuters) – Saudi Primary Industries, the world’s fourth-biggest petrochemicals agency, stated on Sunday its three way partnership undertaking with ExxonMobil within the U.S. Gulf Coast has began commissioning actions and getting ready for an preliminary startup.
The undertaking consists of the institution of an ethylene manufacturing unit with annual capability of about 1.8 million tonnes, which is able to feed two polyethylene items and a monoethylene glycol unit, it stated in a press release.
SABIC expects that this undertaking may have a optimistic influence on its consolidated monetary statements after the business operation begins.
It helps SABIC’s technique to diversify its feedstock sources and energy its petrochemical manufacturing presence in North America for a variety of merchandise, it stated.
