Oct 13 (Reuters) – A U.S. photo voltaic group looking for import tariffs on panels made by Chinese language corporations in Southeast Asia has refused a request by federal commerce officers to disclose its members’ identities, citing fears of retaliation by Beijing, in accordance with a doc the group filed with the Commerce Division on Wednesday.
The submitting by the group American Photo voltaic Producers Towards Chinese language Circumvention (A-SMACC) is the most recent improvement in a long-running conflict between the small U.S. home photo voltaic manufacturing business and a a lot bigger contingent of U.S. photo voltaic venture builders over Asian imports.
