China’s Geely to set up 5,000 battery swapping stations by 2025

BEIJING, Sept 26 (Reuters) – China’s Geely (GEELY.UL) goals to arrange 5,000 battery swapping stations for electrical autos (EV) globally by 2025, as gross sales develop on the earth’s largest automobile market, the automaker mentioned in an announcement on Sunday.
A battery swapping station permits drivers to vary automotive batteries to energy the rides. Chinese language automaker Nio Inc plans to have 4,000 battery swapping stations globally by 2025.
China is selling EV-related infrastructure services, together with charging stations and battery swapping stations.
